Islam does not mature, nor does it get ‘better’. The Arabs invented Islam, wrote its book of beliefs, and then believed the book. As a consequence, Arabs have maintained their medieval ways, and are culturally, and, one might think, constitutionally, unable to comprehend modernity and come to terms with the West.
Where the West took advantage of our native curiosity, imagination, ingenuity, and imagination to study and measure the universe and everything in it, the followers of Islam remained immersed in their 7th century place, utterly uninterested in any thing not of the Koran.
